Rick Shaff
CEO
Rick Shaff is the CEO of Juniper Services and Managing Partner of ATP Partners LLC. He was formerly the COO and CFO of Nevada Nanotech Systems Inc., the CFO of Bristlecone Inc., President – APU of Fallbrook Technologies and CEO of Black Rock Systems.
Rick has a financial background and extensive experience at all company levels from startup to public company, including numerous years of worldwide experience. His experience includes company turnaround success, strategic planning, government relations, building distribution and service networks, and leading and assisting in strategic acquisitions.

Hamza Asumah
Director of Operations
Hamza is the Director of Operations for specialty practices. In high school, he earned the required grades for admission to medical school, and later as a General Surgeon and the Medical Director of Abenkyiman Hospital. Hamza’s private practice career began in 2012, two years after graduating from medical school. Since then, he has explored the power of healthcare entrepreneurship to build up his influence to help the less fortunate in his community.
In 2019, he founded the Hope Surgical Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating, preventing and ensuring early detection and timely care of diabetic foot problems in the underprivileged.

Tawny Keating-Fontes
Director of Recruiting & HR
Tawny Keating-Fontes serves as the Director of Recruiting and HR at Juniper Services. With over twelve years of experience in recruiting and human resources across diverse industries, Tawny is dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture where employees feel valued and supported. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a PHR certification through HRCI, as well as certifications in workplace mental health and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Michelle Lambert
Director of Revenue Cycle
Michelle Lambert joined Juniper Services in 2020, shortly after the company formed. Wearing many hats, Michelle quickly established herself as an essential member of the team by helping build accounting, payroll and operations best practices, to ensure success for Juniper’s practices.
After attaining her bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, Michelle was keen to embark on new opportunities and confidently made the move to Truckee, California. There, she worked in the hospitality industry for nearly 15 years, met her husband and then together, they relocated to Reno.
Now calling Reno home, Michelle and her husband happily enjoy spending time with friends, family and especially their rescue Pitbull, Angus. Michelle’s personal hobbies include snowboarding, camping and adventuring to new restaurants.

Heather Potts
Financial Controller
Heather, a Midwest native, has called Reno home for the past 20 years. With over two decades of experience in accounting, she has worked across a range of industries, including government, private equity and retail. Outside of work, she enjoys quality time with family and friends, cooking dishes from different areas of the world and traveling.

Josh Davis
Marketing Manager
Josh is a results-driven marketing professional with 20 years of experience leading successful campaigns across automotive, hospitality, finance and manufacturing industries.
Known for his data-centric approach and blending of Kaizen practices to foster continuous improvement and drive efficiency, Josh ensures that every strategy is optimized for measurable outcomes, enhancing both short-term performance and long-term growth.
As a proud husband, father and native Nevadan, Josh balances his professional achievements with a strong commitment to family and community. He is excited to collaborate within Juniper Services’s dynamic and innovative environment to make a tangible impact.

Linda Reed
Lead Human Resources Generalist
Linda joined our Human Resources department in September 2021 and has since played a vital role in organizing and developing the department to better serve our practices and patients. With over 30 years of experience in human resources, Linda has worked across diverse industries, including government contracting, financial services, manufacturing, real estate and legal. She is a proactive advocate for growing businesses, actively involved in establishing performance management processes and development strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Ryan Alger
IT Coordinator
Ryan Alger’s path to the field of IT took a unique and non-traditional trajectory. While learning animation and philosophy at Sam Houston University, he embarked on an entrepreneurial venture when he founded a small business dedicated to game-system repair. Over the years, that repair business experienced remarkable growth, expanding its operations until he made the decision to sell the company in 2009. This paved the way for his career as an IT project manager at Hewlett Packard, with subsequent roles at esteemed companies such as SpireTek, Foxconn, Expeditors and Bartec US, where he seamlessly blended IT expertise with project management.
Most recently, Ryan served as the Chief Information Officer at Thrifty Business, followed by a pivotal role as the Head of IT and chief IT Technician at Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada. Currently, he assumes the position of IT Coordinator at Juniper Services.
